Scientist Seminarian is a personal blog and project that ultimately aims to further the Gospel and to bring science and Christianity together, addressing the false dichotomy between the two that has been propagated by individuals in both contexts. The authors and contributors feel that to perpetuate a schism between scientific inquiry of the natural world and God robs him of his glory. We believe that recognizing the infinite wonders of God through his creation as described, in part, by science strengthens the faith of believers and points to his glory. Part of the inspiration for this site comes from the following passages: Psalm 19, 148; Romans 1:20; Job 12:7-10.

Secondarily, the posts attempt to bring a scientific perspective to theological questions. Sometimes these questions will be addressed in thorough posts, while other times open-ended questions will be posed.

Literature and music reviews will largely be done by guest authors and indicated as such.

The primary author is a chemist who enjoys spending time listening to seminary courses from Reformed Theological Seminary, Covenant Theological Seminary, Westminster Theological Seminary, and Westminster California, among others (hence, the name).
